Are you curious about the value of Boca Raton Florida real estate? Boca Raton and West Palm Beach may now be rivaling California for Baby Boomer retirement dollars according to CNN/Money magazine's recent reports.
Florida is giving California a run for its money in terms of where the Baby Boomers want to live."The Boomers are in their peak earning years, buying second Boca Raton homes and retiring to Florida," said Lereah. "We're seeing a lot of development and a lot of building but demand is greater than supply."
The median home price in the Boca Raton area is $338,000 and only six months ago the median home price was $284,000
Six of the top-performing markets nationally are in Florida with West Palm Beach and Boca Raton up 34 percent, and it is not being fueled by retirees, but rather Baby Boomers and families with children moving from the northeast. There is very little inventory in the market and it is normal for new homes for sale in Boca Raton and Boca Raton real estate to get multiple offers after only a few short days on the market.
